There is a song for almost every genre and it spans over many decades. It feels much more like you're playing an actual guitar. The controller is a little tough to get used to, but once you get used to the layout the gameplay is much better. I don't know if he realizes but the exact same guitar is used on all platforms so that's why you need the dongle. If you turn the Xbox so that the dongle is in view, it'll work fine. When I had it on the rear ports, it would drop signal every once in awhile. It works far better if you have it on the side USB port. I'm so happy Freestyle is in charge of the franchise because DJ Hero 1/2 (especially 2) was sick and they deserved a franchise like Guitar Hero.
The new controller feels great and offers a lot of new challenges.
